Fiona Macleod (Piano) grew up in Inverness, and completed her Bmus at the RNCM in Manchester. She studied with Kathryn Stott and in 2002 she won the European Piano Teachers association Pedagogy Prize. In 2003 Fiona moved to Glasgow and was a Junior Fellow Accompanist at the RSAMD for two years. Fiona is now a freelance pianist and also teaches and accompanies at the RSAMD, RSAMD Junior Academy, Strathclyde University and Napier University. She is also the pianist of the ‘Ebony Duo’ and works extensively with singers.

Gemma O'Keeffe (Violin) was born in Belfast, and studied French and Music at Trinity College Dublin before completing a Postgraduate Performers course at the Royal Academy of Music, London. She has played with numerous orchestras around the UK including BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, RSNO, Halle Orchestra, and Ulster Orchestra. She has worked with Ronan Keating, Russell Watson, Cliff Richard, Chris de Burgh and Rebecca Storm and on albums with Daniel O'Donnell and Shanaia Twain. Gemma currently plays for the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.

Paul Chamberlain (Accordion) was born in Scotland in 1981. As a regular performer, he has a wide repertoire across many genres from classical accordion works and transcriptions, to French, Continental and Scottish traditional music. He has won many regional and national accordion competitions in the UK and has made appearances at events in France, Italy, Finland, Bahrain and Russia. Paul is currently studying accordion with Dr Djordie Gajic and is in his final year at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama.

Tom Berry (Double Bass) grew up in Manchester and moved to Glasgow to study at the RSAMD with Iain Crawford (Associate Principal BBC SSO), and then at the Juilliard School in New York with Tim Cobb (Principal Met Opera Orchestra). Upon completion of his studies he continued freelancing with all the Scottish orchestras before being appointed no.2 Double Bass with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera in 2006.
